America has the beside the other first class cabins, eight suites. Four of them on the upper deck and four on the main deck.

The suites have a bedroom next to a working and living room, and a bathroom with bathtub. In the entrance they have a private foyer. If necessary, two suites and a cabin in between can be connected to a large contiguous suites have connecting doors.

As part of the renovation work Australis in 1964 only slightly smaller four suites of the main deck remained. The upper deck suites have been replaced by a multitude of smaller cabins.
